Marathon Painting Part 2

After work JR and Phillip finished up the 2nd coat of the stripes and then when I got home from babysitting was time to pull the tape off!!! Oh that was the most wonderful thing ever.. to be able to see what was underneath that nice brown tape. (Thanks for the comments Tara and Jenn, no we decided not to leave it on ha!)

Removing the last piece of tape!
And here it is! Beautiful blue and blue stripes :)My project man was now done with the paint but right on to the next one.. the crib and dresser! Arent you proud he read the directions ha!

Look how good it looks! And pretty easy to assemble too!
The ABC bedding. I know it is supposed to probably go around the other way (with the green facing the inside of the crib and the letters on the outside), however I really wanted to be able to see the letters and patterns and we couldnt through the bars so we changed it up and put it on the inside so when you look inside you can see it all!
Proud Daddy Isham with the dresser.. drawers working like new!
And we pulled out his toys too... just to add a little more :)

Now just 18 more weeks and he will be here to join us in his lovely new room!!!

Hey Silly Girl!

The "Bumper Pad" SHOULD be on the inside! Hahaha!!! You're SO cute!
It's there to not only look nice but to also keep little Griffin from bumping his head on the railing!

Congrats on the new decor! I think it looks FABULOUS!

I really like the furniture the color & style are super awesome!

Glad to see you got your scrap book too! Blessings to the gift giver!

It looks so great guys! I agree that the letters should be on the inside also. I guess the room looks OK without the brown, although it did look pretty good admit it. LOL I cant believe that he is going to be here in 18 weeks. Can you beleive that Jessie is going to have a baby in a few weeks- crazy!

It looks great, I remember all that excitement when I was pregnant with Austin, the real excitement and kind of reality set in when I hung all his little clothes up in his closet.

When you get the room all fixed up it just reminds you that much more that he IS coming! Well, that and the constant kickin'! Room looks great, you guys really have done a great job.

You experiencing any other "nesting" symptoms? When those get really prevalent, it's almost time! Brandi went into total nesting mode right before ours were born.
