It was a very sad day for our family last week when my bonus grandfather passed away. "Poppy" Ed Mason died after only a few week battle of a rare type of pneumonia in his lungs. I was so thankful that I was able to see him just a few months ago at Mason's graduation and snap these now very memorable photos.
This one is for sure a classic for me as it says so much about these two. Dede always smiling and standing hand in hand with her man....
And this one is SO Poppy. He had just asked Mason's lady friend what her name was again because he said Mason brought so many girls home he couldnt keep up with them all... Always joking and making us laugh :)We sure will miss you Poppy!!
