Today we had another appointment for week 17 and everything was great! Dr. Holton said I was "boringly healthy" which of course is a HUGE praise! All of my blood tests came back great and the baby's heartbeat was very strong at 162 beats per minute. Watch the video below to hear the doctor's predictions on the sex based off the heartbeat :)And I decided to take a picture of another Isham family tradition. Every time we go to the doctor we stop by Cookout for a milkshake. It is a very nice treat for Mommy and Daddy... and I know the kids will love it when its their turn too!!!
Next appointment we will find out the gender.. HOORAY! Only 11 more days :)

I say it is a girl. Going by the heartbeat. Chloe was always high and Tate has been low which I know could be different depending on the baby but thats my vote. GO GIRLS!!!!

lexi's feeling sure are going to be hurt when she hears/sees her daddy thought she was a boy the whole time!!! :) what a wonderful blessing to be able to hear the miracle that is inside of you! sounds great, love you ....
"Boringly Healthy" was my nickname from Dr. Holton through the entire pregnancy! It is a great label to have, trust me!
By the way, you should check out www.expectnet.com--it is an online baby pool where you can guess gender, birth date, weight, and length. It will tell you who is the closest. It is a lot of fun!

Oh how fun!!! Baby Cordero's heart beat is alway at 160. I can't wait until we know for sure then we can celebrate!!! That little heart beat is precious!
i couldn't get the video to work but I just wanted to say that Brody's hearbeat was always around 164. The nurse said that sometimes that means girl but I knew different. I want to know what you think.... that is the key.
I'm with maranda.....Isaiah's heartbeat was always high to. My doctor said that it was a wives tail about the heartbeat and that it's really when they are born that a girls heartbeat is higher. So who knows!!! It's great news though that you are boringly healthy!!!!
Thanks Miranda and Baird!...It's a tough world around here with everybody saying girl...They've even got me starting to believe we're having a girl. Griffin's just a little excited like his daddy which explains the higher heart rate...it's all good...ten days to go! ;)
That is great news! I am still saying boy, but hey I have been wrong. So exciting and that is great to have your doctor say you are "boringly healthy"! What a compliment!

I worked for your father until I retired at the end of September 2008 and he shared his enthusiam of becoming a grandparent (nothing compares to it....I became one in 2006). What a joy and blessing all of you are going to have with God's gift from above.
