IT IS COLD!!!

I dont know about you guys but I am not really liking this COLD weather. I got up this morning and it was 34 degrees.. what in the world! Todays high in Wake Forest was only 51, man that is crazy :) I guess it is time to pull out all of the winter stuff now huh? It really makes me sad that my favorite season of all has now turned into like 3 weeks. I want Fall back please!

This weekend my mom and I are driving down to Chattanooga to see Katie's new house! I am so excited.. and even get to leave work a little early tomorrow so YAY! Pray for safe travels please.. its just me and the road for 9 hours :( I am glad I get to go now though because next week I will be a momma to new puppies and wont be able to leave the house!!!

Speaking of... I hope all of you mom's out there can answer me a question. Today my friends Patrick and Ann came in to see me and show off their new baby girl, who is so cute by the way. They both kept talking about how little sleep that they have gotten in the past 3 weeks that she has been here. Now I LOVE my sleep (just ask JR ha!) Whatever am I going to do? I am hoping it is one of those mommy things that just kindof becomes instinct, because at this point I cant imagine surviving off of 3 hours of sleep. Last night I didnt go to bed till 1230 because I was visiting with Crystal who was in town with work for the night. This morning you would have thought I got ran over or something ha! Just getting 6 hours was not good for me... this girl needs at LEAST 8!! I will be an okay mom though right? Ha this sounds crazy but I am worried :)

  1. That's what I thought too because I love my Sunday afternoon naps and at least 8 hours of sleep, but believe me, you really just kind of get used to it and it beomes normal.

  2. Girl, you will be fine. I was the same way...I think my mom was worried how I was going to handle it, but you just do it and don't feel any different. It is amazing...and God is so good to just erase your memory of what happened the night before! HA!

  4. Well I know exactly what you mean. The entire time I was pregnant I would come in a take an afternoon nap. I think in some ways that was God's way of letting me get a supply of extra sleep before Brody got here. It just works out! Don't worry Lindsey you'll be a great mom one day- sleep or none.

  5. Lindsey- everyone is right, somehow you forget the days of having 8 hours of continuous sleep. Let me just begin by saying that I havent gotten more than 6 hours of continuous sleep since I was about 7 months pregnant. I think I forgot what it was like. Your body adjusts and your friend is right, you are so in love you dont think twice about it! You will make a great Mom someday, God is good!

  6. Lindsey, I have to admit I fondly remember my sleep-in-late Saturdays, and wish that G would enjoy those as well...but she doesn't, and I have survived! You will too. So when are these burning questions going to lead to a big announcement?!? Hee hee, can't wait for you to join the mommy train!
