This weekend was filled with lots of LOVE! I went to Miss Lindsey Kollar's wedding shower Saturday afternoon and loved seeing her beautiful bride glow! Cant wait for the wedding at the end of August!!
Saturday night we went to an engagement party for Stacey and Jacob. These two are extra special to us because he is our pastor/JR's teammate in crime/one of our best friends from SEBTS. We have also fallen in love with Stacey over the last 6 months they have dated and couldnt be more excited that they are now getting married!!!

Chai update
I have very sad news. Sweet Chai has went on to be with Jesus. His body simply could not fight the infection and his lungs were not working on their own. I have shed many tears for this sweet family today but am continually reminded of the verse that Trevor keeps posting and is holding onto.
And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Rom. 8:28

10 weeks
Though he's barely the size of a kumquat — a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby has now completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.In other developments: Your baby's limbs can bend now. His hands are flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. The outline of his spine is clearly visible through translucent skin, and spinal nerves are beginning to stretch out from his spinal cord. Your baby's forehead temporarily bulges with his developing brain and sits very high on his head, which measures half the length of his body. From crown to rump, he's about 1 1/4 inches long. In the coming weeks, your baby will again double in size — to nearly 3 inches.
I love getting these updates from BabyCenter to see what the baby is up to this week. I cant believe it already has fingers and toes and yet its barely bigger than a quarter ha!!! I have been feeling pretty crummy these past few weeks. Nothing tastes good, smells are horrendous and its just a constant state of nausea. Salads, Lemonade and fruit have been my best friends and the no no's so far are: anything with RED sauce, mexican and italian food and sprite. Oddly enough I think my stomach associates sprite with a tummy ache since I used to drink it when I was younger and not feeling well and therefore now anytime I drink it, it makes me worse.
I have also been pretty exhausted- taking advantage of Griffin's 2 naps a day, where I do whatever I need to do around the house during one and then nap the other :)
My stomach continues to feel more and more bloated and in fact someone at church last night noticed that I had a little pouch. Oh the fun is only beginning!!!
Please pray for the Atwoods
My heart is very heavy right now for the Atwood family. Trevor, Keva, Micah and Isaac are one of the sweetest seminary families I have had the priviledge to get to know. After trouble getting pregnant they adopted both of their sons and then had a wonderful surprise and became pregnant with their 3rd son.
Meet Chai (prounounced like kite with out the "t")Samuel Atwood. He was born at 26 weeks via c-section because Keva's water broke and she had started to get an infection. He weighed in at 2lbs, 6 oz and is 14 in long. He is currently in critical condition. He has an infection in his lungs, is carrying blood and his blood oxygen levels are low. Please pray for healing from his infection. Pray for his doctors. Pray for his parents to find their strength in the Lord. And pray that if it is God's will, He will give this sweet child a miracle.

White Lake 4th of July
We were fortunate to celebrate the 4th weekend on the campground at White Lake with our sweet friends the James family. We all LOVED being on the water... and especially Griffin. He had no fear and would just put his face in it!
He also loved spending so much time with his best buddy Heather. It is so funny to watch them together because he just follows her around and thinks everything she does is hysterical!
Kitty Hawk, NC
A few weeks ago we drove out to the Outer Banks to meet my family and have a mini vacation. It was the first time in a few years that all 3 kids were together and I loved it!
